• At The Church

For more information, please contact the parish office by email or by phone.

  • Altar Servers

This ministry is extremely vital to all our liturgies in all three of our parishes! At weekend Masses we invite youth in grade three and up to assist the priest at the altar. Youth attend training sessions, retreats, and fun activities outside of the commitment to weekend Masses. Our altar servers become a faith filled group who support one another. Adult altar servers are needed for daily Masses and funeral Masses. Why be an altar server? Best seat in the house!

If your child is interested in being an Altar Server, please register him or her using this form.

  • Kids Korner

Kids Korner is a resource table for children found in all three of our parishes. It contains the weekly Children's Bulletin, colouring sheets, crayons, pencils, books, and little stuffed toys for the children to use during Mass. At St. Mary’s Church, it is located inside the Church along the back wall next to the annex entrance, in Sacred Heart and St. Michael’s Churches, you can find the Kids Korner as you enter the Church at the main entrance. Please feel free to help your little ones select whatever they need to feel at home in our parishes!

  • Sunday School

Sunday School is currently offered at St. Mary’s Church during the 9 am & 11 am Mass; and at Sacred Heart, Langton during the 10:30 am Mass. Children who have been toilet trained and up until grade 3rd are called forward at the beginning of the Mass and then proceed to the Sunday School room for a bible story and activities. Children return to the Mass at the Offertory to sit with their parents.

  • Kids Choir

This program is available at St. Mary’s Church for children and teens. Young children should be able to read. The kids’ choir, under the direction of John Vermeeren, leads music once a month at Mass and at special liturgies. For more information, please contact the parish office by email or phone.

  • Vacation Bible School

During the summer, our Family of Parishes hosts a Vacation Bible School for young children from FDK until grade 6 at St. Mary’s. Youth grade 7 and up are invited to volunteer as group leaders to assist adults in providing this faith filled program. Due to renovations this summer, Vacation Bible School will not be offered in the summer of 2023 at St. Mary’s. Stay tuned for next year!
